Nigerian Aliko Dangote Becomes First Black Billionaire to Hit $30B Net Worth

This milestone indicates a $2.16 billion increase in Dangote’s fortune so far this year, driven in part by a recent $430 million valuation gain. 

As of late October 2025, his net worth was reported at around $30.3 billion, making him not only the richest Black man in the world but also the first African-born billionaire to cross the $30 billion threshold.

  • $155K | The Da Vinci Fellowship gives offers an equity-free grant of €150 000 150,000 per fellow to young, contrarian Europeans

  • $100K | The Thiel Fellowship is a two-year program for young people who want to build new things. Fellows receive a $100,000 grant and support from the Thiel Foundation’s network of founders, investors, and scientists. 🗓️ Application on a rolling basis:
